The original designers of the 990 were tasked with creating the best running shoe on the market. The final product more than lived up to that claim. For both avid runners and style trendsetters, the 990 was a symbol of quality and first-class taste. Since 1982, the design has been updated and more color options have been introduced, but the 990 has never lost its aura as a status symbol for up-and-comers. The Made in USA 990v4 was originally introduced in 2016 and continues the modernization of the v3 silhouette. For Fall/Winter ’26, the 990v4 features a cool mix of gray and navy, crafted from a high-quality blend of nubuck leather and mesh with synthetic accents.
